The entwined haga.  Built as an island, 350 meters square, at the center of the Baray of Preah Khan, at the center of which a large square basin has at its center a circular base, ringed with two entwined nagas (serpents), supporting the central sanctuary. Four smaller square basins at each side are connected by gargoyles with discharge into small sanctuaries in a form which replicates the sacred lake of Anavatapta in the Himalaya, venerated for its powers of healing.
